Cradle of jazz and existentialism, frequented by many penniless artists sometimes famous, this district with old streets animated with its many cinemas, bookstores, cafes and jazz clubs, retains its inimitable atmosphere. The Saint-Séverin district, at the end of the Boulevard Saint-Michel, built in the 13th century, is one of the oldest in Paris. In this sector, the museum of Cluny, national museum of the Middle Ages, is not to be missed with its tapestries, its woodcarvings, its windows and its objects of the daily newspaper. You can admire the famous hanging of the lady to the unicorn. During your holiday rental in the 5th district of PAris, a walk on the side of the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève will remain unforgettable. The whole hillside neighborhood is crisscrossed with steep streets and lanes, with walls sometimes covered with Virginia creeper or ivy, high-rise houses with courtyards and backyards, giving it a soul and charm crazy. You will arrive then on the Pantheon, neoclassical building which contains the tombs of 73 famous French characters among whom André Malraux, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola and Voltaire.

Latest reviews for places in Paris-Latin Quarter
This place looks exactly as it does on the pictures. It is approximately 15 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station and conveniently close to a supermarket. Typical of apartments in Paris, it does not have air conditioning but temperatures are mild in Paris (although we were there in the week-long heat wave!). The amenities are great and you will find everything you need. We did not want for anything during our two week stay.Natasja reviewed LOVELY FLAT QUARTIER LATIN in Val-de-Grâce
Apartment is in a great location and central to the Latin Quarter close to many bars/restaurant and not far from 2 different Metro lines etc.
The only negative comment about the apartment is that some of the rooms could do with the ceiling sanding down and repainting. But it is only superficial.
Overall, pretty good.andrew reviewed QUARTIER LATIN- Sorbonne Apartement in Latin Quarter
The apartment is located in the university district of Paris, overlooking the botanical garden. The bright apartment is tastefully decorated with antique furniture, has a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom. All necessary shops are just around the corner and the subway station Jussiueu. In the vicinity are many small bars and restaurants that are away from the mass tourism also visited by locals. We felt very comfortable here and would highly recommend this propertyGabriela reviewed Jussieu 2 in Jardin des Plantes
