Live like a Florentine Local in with 9flats.com
Florence is a treasure chest of art and architecture that is filled to the brim with gorgeous facades, rich history and fascinating lanes. It is a city best experienced as the locals do, wandering the cobble stone streets, sipping espresso at cafés and exploring its history first hand. 9flats.com offers a large selection of vacation apartments in Florence located right at the heart of the city. In your own vacation rental you can experience the local culture first hand with all the action of the city right at your doorstop.
Florentines are rightly proud of what their city has to offer. Once the wealthiest city on the planet, it is now protected by its UNESCO World Heritage Site. Millions of tourists come here every year to the Renaissance city, but with your own vacation rental, you can have a more authentic experience of Florentine life. Visit the Galleria degli Uffizi, which contains the world’s finest collection of Renais-sance art, most of them considerable masterpieces. Of course no matter what your taste, Florence’s Duomo is one of the most fantastic sites in all of Italy. The incredibly intricate Gothic cathedral took close to 150 years to complete and is the crown jewel of Florence. For those who are easily over-whelmed by crowds, choose a vacation rental close to the expertly landscaped Giardino di Boboli, which offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle.
Vacation Rentals for All Tastes
For those food enthusiasts, Florence offers some of the finest cuisine in the world. Choose your restaurant carefully – those in the very busy tourist areas will be much more expensive than those hidden away down the back streets where the locals choose to eat. It is also a good idea to check the price before sitting down as many places have different rates depending on whether you are seated or standing at the bar. Indulge in fine Florentine cuisine like Pasta e Fagioli and gelato, best bought from one of the roadside stands after dinner and enjoyed while watching the fascinating street life around you.

Latest reviews for places in Florence
The photos showing a very well lit flat disguised the fact the it had no natural light. There were two large supporting beams in the bedroom level that you had to bend under to move around. The central location helped overcome these disappointing features and we enjoyed our stay.Rosemary reviewed Dante nearby Pitti palace in Santo Spirito
The apartment was just like its pictures. The kitchen was well equipped & the bed was very comfortable.lorraine reviewed RISVEGLIO A SANTA CROCE in San Niccolo
The local area had a great range of bars & restaurants & a fabulous market., as with all busy areas there was some night time noise. All the major sights were within walking distance & I felt safe at all times.
The location of the apartment was in a great place, around 15 minutes walking distance from the Dome, The Cathedral of Santa Maria, and the Museum with David. It is also located OUTSIDE of the ZTL, which is great for nearby parking. It is a large apartment for Florence, and can easily accommodate 3 people.
However, we had some minor issues with the apartment. In the description the owners described "forfeiting the cost of short stay visitors for electricity, water, and gas" which they did not do. We stayed 3 nights and used the air-conditioning for 2 hours max, went out for dinners, and it was still 10 euros. The WIFI stopped working on the second day of our stay, because of a broken router.
I give a great rating because I hope these are temporary issues, and the people are kind.Gabrielle reviewed ARTISTI: Bright & comfortable in Le Cure
Absolut empfehlenswert!!! Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig, aber nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Zur Bushaltestelle sind es nur wenige Schritte. (Auto ist in Florenz NICHT empehlenswert)Carsten reviewed Lovely apartment in a farmhouse nea in San Felice A Ema
