Good location, nice neighbourhood, some pubs even in the vicinity. 10min walk from Las Ventas, 15 min by subway from City center. Old fashion furniture, very nice and cosy, nice balcony for morning coffee. Kitchen a bit small, but plenty of everything in it. All in all great value for money.

This was the perfect place for me to stay while searching for an apartment in Madrid. It offers an ideal balance between independence/privacy and community/support. For some extra money, one of the hosts picked me up from the airport, which made me (and my parents) feel way more comfortable about my first trip to Europe. I shared my piso with two other people my age (early 20's). The hosting couple rents out several pisos--all within walking distance of another--and tend to host really nice/fun get togethers for whomever is staying with them, so it was really easy to meet fellow travelers from all over the world (e.g., El Salvador, Iraq, England, China, and Austria)--all of whom speak Spanish and English (to different degrees)! The level of cleanliness in the apartment depends on the other people, but the living room is spacious, the Wifi is great, the neighborhood is safe, and this deal is definitely a tremendous value.

I had a room in an appartment of Fanny and Julian. I shared it with two other travellers. It was clean and nice furnished. Also the kitchen was fully equiped. The area is nice with auppermarkets and shops arround. Alive during the day and quite at night. Public transport is near and the city center close.
