St. Marylebone was a metropolitan borough of London between 1900 and 1965, but changes to London’s administration meant it was absorbed into the City of Westminster along with the boroughs of Westminster and Paddington. St. Marylebone includes some of the most recognisable areas in the city; areas such as Marylebone, Oxford Street and St. John’s Wood. While the housing may not be as opulent as in other areas of the city, St.Marylebone has an undoubted atmosphere of history, entrepreneurial spirit and typical London culture. The best way to fully appreciate your visit is to immerse yourself in local life by staying in a holiday apartment in St. Marylebone from 9flats.
Holiday Apartments in St.Marylebone Offer Secluded Luxury
One of the most visited areas in St. Marylebone is Governor Square. Also referred to as Little America, the square is home to the American Embassy, and a statue of former President Roosevelt stands proudly at its centre. The unmistakable Marble Arch is located near Hyde Park – although its original home was directly in front of Buckingham Palace. The beautiful Regent’s Park provides visitors with a great place in which to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A collection of lakes, ancient trees and open spaces make the park a great place to take leisurely strolls or to simply watch the world go by. The park is also the home of an open-air theatre which hosts regular concerts and shows. Such wonderful surroundings are best appreciated when you live amongst them, and a luxurious and private holiday apartment in London from 9flats will provide you with all the creature comforts you can imagine.
Immerse Yourself in Local Life with Holiday Accommodation in St. Marylebone
If you feel like a leisurely morning stroll during your visit, make sure it takes in Marble Arch and the entrance to Hyde Park, as this is the location of the world-famous Speaker’s Corner. Particularly on a Sunday morning, preachers, politicians, activists and anyone who wants their views to be heard take to their ‘soap box’ and get their message across to anyone prepared to listen. The Wellington Arch in Hyde Park Corner is well worth a visit, as it is a stunning example of neoclassical architecture that dates back to 1826. Also in the area are London Zoo and Apsley House – the home of the Duke of Wellington which now serves as a fascinating museum dedicated to his life. With so much history and culture in the area, the best way to absorb it is to make holiday accommodation in Lisson Grove your home for the duration of your stay. Holiday properties from 9flats are usually located in real neighbourhoods, so you can truly become at one with the city.
Couchsurfing in St. Marylebone is a great way of living amongst the real people of London, and the service offered by 9flats is similar. However, the 9flats website also gives you the opportunity to live in a luxurious residence all of your own. 9flats has properties to rent that will show you a side of towns and cities that hotels simply can’t.

Ideal if you come to London via Stansted, just a few steps from the National Express bus. The flat has everything you need, and is quite bright and pleasant, and for London the value is pretty good (London of course is really pricey)

Excellent location.
Stephen reviewed T2 Regent's Park / Oxford Street in St. Marylebone
Bit basic in regards to kitchen equipment and could do with an iron. -

Best described as shabby chic but had everything you need for a stay.
It is a 4 floor walk up, last floor is steep. We had no trouble with sound as the neighbours seemed to not be there. So it was quiet.
The front hall in the building is off putting with the broken couch there.

Appartamento con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, luminoso, in palazzo elegante, in zona centralissima (alle spalle di Baker Street). Peccato che è un po' trasandato, altrimenti sarebbe un cinque stelle da sogno.
