Best Salzburg-Riedenburg holiday apartments

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is semi-subterranean thus a little dark, but it's spacious, comfortable, had all the facilities we required and is brilliantly located for easy access to the delights of Salzburg.

I would recommend guests be given the email address of the local contact in order to facilitate interaction ahead of time with that contact - texts and calls to the telephone number supplied were not answered until after we had actually arrived outside the apartment.

This flat is in a smart, quiet area but very well located for forays into the old city - a short walk through the pedestrian tunnel and you are in the heart of it. There is a supermarket close by and a stop for the no.10 to/from the airport. It is modern, well equipped and clean. It is a basement apartment and so some rooms lack much natural light. We had a warm and helpful welcome from the owner. We could have done without having to make a foraging trip on arrival (on a Sunday night) for essentials such as toilet roll and soaps but this was perhaps an oversight by the cleaners rather than deliberate strategy. Refurbishment works in the house opposite meant more noise than normal or ideal during the day but did not disturb us in the evenings.
