Popular accommodations in Liguria
Liguria is located in the northwest of Italy and borders on the south of France. The coastal region is divided into Riviera di Ponente and Riviera di Levante, with Genoa linking the two coastlines. Already during the Roman times, the importance of the area as a trade route was appreciated, but here, too, people stayed to take a break on the beach and relax. Nothing has changed in this respect until today. Genoa grew into a world-famous port city and Liguria became a magnet for travellers from all over the world. Apartments in Liguria are indeed numerous, but if you are interested in a completely new travel feeling, far away from Couchsurfing in Liguria or anonymous hotels, we recommend our private accommodations, in which you can feel just as comfortable as the locals themselves. You can enjoy your holiday in a cosy environment without having to renounce your privacy. And if you are looking for contact to your hosts or neighbours, they will certainly help you if you would like to have tips about in locations or visit the most interesting sights.
Apartments in Liguria, the wonderful coastal region of northwest Italy
We have a variety of accommodations for you in our program: Apartments in Genoa, private apartments in San Remo or e.g. spacious accommodations in La Spezia. From here you can explore your holiday region in peace. Undertake from your apartment in Liguria from a side trip to Genoa, the capital of the region, and go you best directly into the center, because already 2006 declared the splendour roads in the old part of town to the world cultural heritage, since here singular Palazzi and splendourful Patrician houses are here. Modern flair is provided by the many young people from all over the world who come to Genoa to study at the university and the academies. In this respect, the nightlife is correspondingly interesting and multi-faceted. Other cities worth seeing are San Remo, Portofino and Imperia. Of course, Liguria is also known in culinary respect and the city Imperia with its food industry plays an important role, as the small coastal city is one of the main transshipment points for Italian olive oil. Other well-known export articles of Liguria are the wonderful wine, the ravioli and the “pesto alla genovese”. The Genoese pesto is traditionally made from fresh basil, roasted pine nuts, parmesan, garlic and olive oil and served with bread or pasta. Perhaps you would like to try a new recipe in the kitchen of your private holiday home in Liguria.
From the private holiday apartment in Liguria to the excursion destinations in the surroundings
Liguria not only offers beautiful beaches and enchanting coastal towns, but also impresses with magnificent nature in the hinterland. After all, Liguria is almost 70% woodland, stretching from the valleys to the mountains. Hikers enjoy the breathtaking views offered by, among other things, the Ligurian High Trail. This approx. 440 km long trail leads from Ventimiglia in the west to Tuscany in the east. The Italian Riviera can be easily explored by car, and if you decide to visit the French coast, we can recommend our Apartments in Nice, Cannes or St.-Tropez.
