A propos de Sean
After working hard all week I tend to relax doing my two favourite hobbies. These are playing golf and going fishing at the local estuary which is close to the holiday cottage. I live close by so am willing to help out and advise about the local area and fishing hotspots

We did not use the attic bedroom and bath, however, that bath was much nicer and larger than the one downstairs. But, the heat was not on upstairs and it was quite cold as we were there at the end of December. Otherwise, downstairs, the water was hot and pressure good for showers. Bring your own washcloths - none were provided. It was VERY windy, wet and cold during our stay and it took awhile for the cottage to get comfortably warm. Thankfully, our host left peat so we could enjoy a nice fire. Our daughter loved having a bunk bed and the beds were quite comfortable. The location is a bit out of town, but is very peaceful and idyllic so we enjoyed that very much. We had everything we needed - even satellite TV to catch the news and weather. We would definitely visit Ardara again and stay at this cottage.

We couldn't have asked for anything more!!! Ard a Mhaoire house is fantastically charming and the location can only be described as heavenly! The village of Ardara already feels like home to me, and having this lovely cottage to stay it just made it that much more special. The house is very well equipped with every convenience you could possibly need. Spacious, clean and most of all comfortable. A true home away from home. The views of the surrounding strands are spectacular! Peaceful and serene setting, and we were even awakened to a beautiful rainbow not once, but twice! Truly magical. The only part we didn't like was having to pack up and leave. I would surely recommend this lovely property to anybody looking to relax on your own piece of the Wild Atlantic Way!

Sean was an excellent host. He met us quickly upon our arrival into town and led us out to the cottage - which we NEVER would have found on our own in the dark. He had a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us and plenty of peat to start a fire to warm up the cottage. He dropped by to collect the key the day we left and we had a nice visit. Very likable and accommodating, a very good host.
