Neustadt is a district in the German city of Dresden. This historic area of the city was damaged badly during the Second World War, but it has since been rebuilt into something resembling its former glory. As well as most of Dresden’s main galleries, museums and government buildings, the Neustadt area is home to a number of residential buildings and areas that encapsulate typical German life. A great way to experience the city close-up is by renting a holiday apartment in Neustadt. The 9flats website is home to thousands of properties that give you the opportunity to stay in a private residence instead of an impersonal hotel.
Holiday Apartments in Neustadt are Both Private and Luxurious
This vibrant area of the city is home to many of Dresden’s cultural institutions. The Erich Kastner Museum is located at Albertplatz, and the impressive State Museum of Ethnology can be found at the Japanisches Palais. However, a great place to spend the day exploring the sights is the Hauptstraße – Dresden’s main street. As well as a whole host of great cafes and restaurants, the Hauptstraße is also the home of the Dresden Soccer Museum and the Museum of Dresden Romanticism. It seems that culture and history can be found on every street in this area of the city, and staying in a holiday apartment in Dresden will give you a comfortable, well-appointed and luxurious base in which to recharge your batteries every evening.
Holiday Accommodation in Neustadt Gives You a Glimpse of Local Life
Dresden is famous throughout Europe for its appreciation of the arts, and in particular, movies and music. The renowned Jazz Club Tonne can be found on the Königstraße, and the City Festival – celebrated on the Hauptstraße – gives people the chance to rejoice in Dresden’s artistic talent. The area is also well known for its Baroque architecture, and there are a number of fine townhouses in the area that have been renovated as self-contained apartments. Neustadt is one of the main cultural and artistic centres of Germany, and the only way to get a true flavour of local life is to immerse yourself in a local neighbourhood for the duration of your stay – something holiday accommodation in Pieschen Sud makes possible.

I was not lucky with the weather but the balcony is perfect if you visit in summer.

Sehr gemütliche Wohnung in der Dresdner Neustadt. Super Lage im Szeneviertel. Alles da, was man braucht.Kerstin reviewed Gästewohnung in der Neustadt in Dresden-Neustadt
Our stay in Dresden came in very tropical weather (36 to 37° celcius, even in the appartment itselve). There was no possibility to cool down the appartment al little bit. A little fan would be welcome. Some more light above the table in the livingroom could give the opportunety to read a book.Bert reviewed Neustadt-Wohnung: zentral & ruhig in Dresden-Neustadt
Our appartment was on the first floor, nice, clean and conveniently located. It's in a busy crossroad. Windows isolation is very good, no noise, though the whole place trembled when the tram passed by!Maria isabel reviewed Haus Königsbrücker in Dresden-Neustadt
