Apartments in Asturias in Northern Spain
If you want to travel to Asturias by plane, the best way is to fly either to Santander or directly to Oviédo. A rental car is the best way to get to your apartment in Asturias. Maybe you will start your journey in Oviédo, because this city alone offers many sights. The entire old town is a pedestrian zone, so you can easily visit the Camposagrado Palace, the Margrave Palace or the Cathedral San Salvador, which with its magnificent rose window belongs to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The Plaza de Trascorrales in Cimadevilla, the oldest old town quarter of Oviédo, is certainly one of the most worth seeing places. The churches of Santa Maria del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo are some of the most important witnesses of pre-Romanesque architecture and have also been awarded by UNESCO. If you are in Oviédo, don’t forget to taste the local specialities, such as cider, Pixin, monkfish, the Asturian bean dish Fabada and the delicious almond cake Tarta de Almendras.
Private apartments in Asturias, the historic region with a lot of charm.
Asturias is well known for its many caves, which are decorated with paintings from the Stone Age, more than 15,000 years old and impressive relics from past times can be found here. In addition, well over 700 dolmens were found, buildings from the megalithic culture that once served as tombs. But not only historical relics can be discovered from your private holiday home in Asturias. You can also stay and relax on wonderful beaches: Visit the bays near Niembro or the beaches of La Franca and Andrin. Above the coast, you will often suddenly discover “geysers” sprouting out of the ground. Here water fountains shoot up, which have found their way from the sea through the rocks: an impressive spectacle, not only for ambitious photographers. Your next trip takes you further south to the Portuguese coast? Then book a private holiday apartment in Porto or Lisbon with us.

Everything is well designed and looks as good in reality as the pictures make out.
The kitchen is well equipped although you will need to buy coffee tea condiments oil and cleaning stuff.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
My only complaint is that the local dogs bark a bit at night sometimes but I'm a light sleeper.
Would come back again one day.
