关于 ASH
I was born in Edinburgh and have lived here all my life, I studied Mathematics at Edinburgh University and after that I decided to do a bit of travelling in Canada and America. Whilst in Canada I met my lovely wife Charlie - she is from New Zealand so I then travelled to NZ where I lived and worked for a year and a half before returning to Edinburgh where we bought our home together. I have been lucky enough to visit a number of other countries during my life including Australia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Thailand and Turkey. I came across 9flats.com in an article in the Ryanair in-flight magazine on the way back from Portugal. It sounded like a great way to meet people from around the globe so I signed up and since then we have been lucky enough to have visitors from all corners of the world!

It was a really large n cosy room wit a nice view of the neighbourhood.
Its spacious n we had lots of room to put the loads of luggage we carried wit us
we slept n rested peaceful all the nights we stayed. -

The room is very large and comfortable; Loanhead is very near to Edinburgh (15 min. by car from Wawerly rail station; little more by bus).
Great for visiting Edinburgh! -

ASH and his wife were both extremely friendly, considerate and helpful. The accomidations were beyond expectations. Their cats were adorable and always offered a warm welcome to the home each day upon returning. There place is an excellent alternative to staying in downtown Edinburgh because it's only an inexpensive, 27min bus into the heart of town and their bus stop is less than a 5 min walk from there front door! Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality! I def recommend this place to anyone!

Das Zimmer im Haus von Ash ist groß und wirklich schön eingerichtet. Alles sauber und in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Die Anbindung an die Innenstadt von Edinburgh ist hervorragend. Der Bus fährt in der Rush Hour 25-30 Minuten. In der Nacht nur 15-20 Minuten. Fußweg zu Haltestelle 2 Minuten. 1+

Both Ash & Charlie are quite kind and very pleasant. We have just spent few minutes together but was enough to know that coming again to Edinburgh we have to meet these good people again.

Ash & Charlie were awesome host! They shared their house like it was ours and made us feel at home. Its the first time we have ever decide to stay in a guest house instead of a hotel and i have to say its was a gd n extremely cheap experience. Ash help wits loads of information on attractions n bus routes so we never got lost :)
Ash n Charlie thanks for sharing ur home hairdryer n especially the kitty's miss them loads. -
