Barking is not the nicest area, but with the c2k line are you in around 15 minutes at the tower bridge. The price for the flat is for London absolutely fair. -

We had a very nice room with our own private bath room, both very clean and modern!
There was a very good and quick connection to the city centre (C2C-line), however for tourists that want to go back to there room in the middle of the day to rest it might be not central enough.

We had the best stay ever at Diego's place! The apartment was nice and cosy as were the photos online! We were offered to use the coffee machine in the morning, the TESCO supermarket was just around the corner and the tube station a 3 minutes walk away! Thank you so much Maria and DIego!

A very nice room with a beautiful bathroom, not to far away from the city - everything modern and clean in a big modern building. A lot of shops, some pubs and the underground/overground only some steps away.

The apartment was very clean and nice. We really loved staying there. Since this was our first trip, where staying at a private host we expected everything, but in the end we couldn’t imagine anything better. Of course barking isn’t in the center of London but you can get there within 15 minutes easily. Overall it was just perfect and we would always come again.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for your hospitality. They gave us good advice on how to use the public transport and told us which lines were the best to get in town or to the Eurostar station.

I never met Diego as he was on holiday as we arrived. Still his mother welcomed us warmly and showed let us experience our stay in London all in private. She was very nice and helpful and we'd always come back to this lovely apartment!

Diego and his wife (and his cat) had been wonderful hosts, very polite and helpful with a warm wellcome at our arrival. All the best to the little family especially the upcoming new member. We would definetely come back again.
