Welcome all people interested in France and especially Paris. In the past I travelled a lot and I’ve met many people. Some of them have taken care of me, told me what to see where to go and how to get there. Today I am pleased that I can do the same for guests coming from the entire world. We live in Colombes close to La Defense Parisian business district. From our house it takes only 10-15 minutes (which is very little for Paris) to the most important sights such as Opera, Louvre Museum or Place Concorde, Champs Elyssées. We offer you beautiful and charming rooms at very attractive rates. We offer a warm and personal welcome to a home away from your sweet homeJ . Our home is not a hotel, but we assure very professional and personal service to our guests. In our home you are welcome to use the kitchenette where you can prepare for example your breakfast. WIFI access is available in all rooms. The attractive points of our rooms are the central localization (10-15 minutes), quite neighborhood (rooms in majority are with garden view) and not to forget very attractive rate. Jenny 3.0 01/01/2014When we searched through 9flats it was only for hosts that were offering completely private apartments. This flat came up under that option. We also thought that paying for a house outside of Paris for the price listed was very fair. When we arrived, Magda informed us over the phone that we had actually only rented one room, with a shared bathroom. This may be a 9flats error, listing her house as a private space that is not share, but it ultimately affects how we enjoyed the space. The house was very clean and well decorated. But, the bathroom was shared with many, many people so that made the value for money much less worth it. We paid a very high price per night for one room, with a shared bathroom. Also, the house was full so there was lots of noise and the shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom were extremely unwelcoming as the other guests were often using the space. Lastly, these rooms are NOT 15 minutes from Paris centre: the trip takes much close to 30 minutes.

Sehr flexibel in der Zimmerverteilung, wenn noch was frei ist..( auch ein Zimmer noch dazu bekommen..)
Freier Zugang zur kleinen kueche ..
Und tolle Verbindung zur Innenstadt . -

The rooms were spacious, neat and comfortable, neighbourhood indeed quiet and nice with a bakery and two grocery stores a few minutes away. (And a pharmacy, if you might ever need one.)
Although getting there for the first time proved a bit too complicated for my bf and I (we haven't managed to make much research about how to get there from the railway station before we got there :) - it's good to have a map of Paris *and surroundings* before you get there!), after the introductory talk with Magda the localisation occurred to be perfect - it took us around 15 minutes to get to the city centre and start sightseeing. Great place, we're already thinking of coming back! -

Magdalena recently renovated her home and during the process kept in mind the possibility of taking in guests. The plans have worked out well with everything a guest might need! Each room is pristine marked by Magdalena's character and taste. With multiple rooms to choose from, one with a terrace and a view on the garden, there is a bit of something for everyone. Sadly, Magda was not in town when we visited. Due to multiple miscommunications, my emails to Magda through 9flats and through private email were not received by her. This means we waited out on the street for well over an hour in December for someone to come let us in the house. Although the couple Magda had taking care of her house and guests were very very very sweet and friendly, they knew nothing about the house or the area so weren't very helpful as a stand-in host. But I would like to say that while our visit was less than pleasant, Magda did try to do her best as a host long distance. I expect this was an unsual experience.

I met Magdalena at her lovely house and was charmed by her warmth and kindly manner. I visited her just as she was receiving some guests who arrived earlier than expected. She showed them the rooms and how everything worked as well as sat down with them to recommend different places to visit in Paris and how to get there.
