About Sil

Sil and her husband are a very comfortable and hopitable pair. The flat is super central and made it very easy for me to enjoy Barcelona in the best way!
Sil gave me a lot of information and hints about Barcelona.
5 ★ for them! :)

Ein herrliches Altbau Apartment, sehr schön und interessant eingerichtet, hohe Fester und Türen. Sehr nette Gastgeber.
Allerdings geht aus der Beschreibung meines Erachtens nicht hervor, dass es sich um eine WG ähnliche Unterkunft handelt, wo Gastgeber und evtl andere Mieter sich das Apartment teilen.
Die zentrale Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge und Besichtigungen per Metro, Bus oder zu Fuss. Dafür ist es auch nachts entsprechend lebhaft und laut.
Ich würde wieder bei Sil buchen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Advantages
-The place is in the middle of all tourist attractions
-Very clean and tidy place

Disadvantages: Can be noisy as construction/renovation works are carried out in opposite building, but this can be avoided by wearing earplugs.

It's an amazing flat where we had a great time.
I recommend it.

Die beiden sind ein sehr sympathisches und relaxtes Paar. Sila gibt viele Tipps und ist in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist sehr hübsch, es gibt sogar einen Ventilator. Es ist ein ganz bisschen laut, aber dafür ist es eben auch sehr zentral und sehr gut gelegen! Man lernt Barcelona von ganz anderer Seite kennen. Toll!

They have a really nice flat. You can use the kitchen (including fridge) and the wasching machine. You can come and go whenever you want and most of the places are reachable by foot. The room is very comfortable. As others wrote before it is a bit noisy (traffic) at night because of the thin glasses of the window and the street in front of the room. But we knew this before and brought earplug with out. Beside the noise it is perfect and we would like the idea to come back soon.

Everything is nice and lovely. The room was clean. The flat is near the town centre and a metro station - so it's very well located. The beds are very good and the bathroom is also very clean. It's wonderful!

Le logement est bien situé (le centre ville peu se visiter à pied) et très fonctionnel. L'aménagement est fait avec beaucoup de goût. C'est très agréable!

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Wohnung sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Badezimmer und die Küche sind ziemlich groß. Sehr angenehm, dass man die Küche und auch das Wohnzimmer mitbenutzen kann.

Das Zimmer ist merkwürdig ausgestattet, es hatte wie auf dem Foto auch zu sehen ist, ein riesiges snowboard auf einem mini Holzwandregal direkt über dem Kopfende eines Bettes. Wir mussten es herunterheben, es war zu gefährlich es war überhaupt nicht fixiert.
Das Bett darunter quietschte bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung.
das Zimmer hatte eine zimmertür, die sich von innen nur anlehnen ließ, sie schnappte nicht zu, war also nicht zu schließen. nur für von außen, bekam ich ein minischloß, wenn ich abschließen will.
Das Badezimmer ging auch nicht abzuschließen, die fenster dort ließen sich nicht öffnen. im Zimmer war zwar die Bettwäsche sauber, aber es standen zwei ziemlich angeschmutzte Bürostühle im Zimmer, die Türen waren angeschmutzt und das Zimmer könnte auch mal etwas Farbe gebrauchen. Trotzdem haben wir gut in der Küche Tee und Brote machen können und im Eingangsraum/Loggia essen können. Dort war es sauber.

You`ll get a clean room in the centre of B and an amazing host.

I spent 4 days with Laura and Lalo and they are absolutely the best hosts anyone could ever have the pleasure to stay with. They came to meet me at Barcelona Airport pick up point and then took me to their home, upon arrival Laura sat down with me and explained every place I could visit in Barcelona, gave me a map, marked down places to see and explained best ways to move around the city. I honestly have to say that I wish I spent more time in Barcelona with them and would definitely make sure I come back again and next time make time to visit their restaurant which I regret never having the time to go and taste. Laura and Lalo are 5 star hosts and make sure you stay with them in their beautiful home. Amazing hosts! The best!

Fantastic location - in the middle of town! There is a metro station nearby and many bus stops. The only problem was that at night it´s pretty loud but with earplugs is just fine. The street number is 103 (not 105 as it says). Have a good time - don't stay too much in the house! Go see Barcelona!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr gut.Hier wurde schon gesagt,dass es ziehmlich laut ist.Mich hat es nicht gestört,da es nicht so laut war.Es ist halt nur ein wenig Strassenverkehr.Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.Die Lage ist auch sehr gut,wir konnten alles zu Fuss erreichen.Die Gastgeberin hat uns am 1. Tag alles erklärt und noch einen Stadtplan und ein Wörterbuch zur Verfügung gestellt.Wenn ich nochmal nach Barcelona komme,werde ich versuchen,dort auch wieder unterzukommen.

Sehr zentral, Metro, Bus, Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen.
Located very centrally, Metro, bus, sights very close to Sil´s home.
Verkehrslärm einigermaßen laut, aber mit Ohrenstöpseln war alles gut.
Traffic noise a bit noisy, but with ear plugs everything was allright!

La ubicacion es excelente, todo esta cerca. Ademas, hay medios de transportes a los alrededores.

Nice flat! Clean bathroom, the room was large enough for 2 people, maybe a bit noisy because of the traffic. There's a nice living room and it is close to the metro station (hospital clinic), 5/10 mins walking.

Separate room in a very stylish and comfortable appartement - with friendly hosts who were always there if we had any questions!

Die Wohnung ist super gelegen, es ist sauber,Sil ist sehr sehr nett und freundlich,die Matratzen fanden wir nicht so toll (wahrscheinlich hat jeder sein eigene empfinden...) und wie es schon jemand geschrieben hat, ohne ohropax geht nicht-es ist wirklich laut(wir hatten leider keins mit).
The Appartment ist clean & cute and is really good located.Sil and her husband are very kind and helpful.The only one thing is,it was a little bit loud,actually you need an ohropax. Thanks a lot!

The apartment we stayed in was perfect. It is in a great location, very safe to walk to, even late at night, and the bed was extremely comfortable! I am very pleased with our stay and next time will definitely try to stay here again.

Hey, i spend 4 days at Sils home and i really hope to come back soon. It was perfect, near to the city center and such a nice interior. Really great apartment in the heart of barcelona, i and a friend of me would really come back :)

Das Appartment ist super central, ganz toll creativ eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer lag direkt an der Straße und dadurch das es ein Altbau ist, ist es sehr hellhörig. Aber wenn man nicht empfindlich ist und Ohropax dabei hat, geht es super.

Tolle Wohnung, herzlich eingerichtet, das Zimmer ist zwar recht laut nachts, aber dadurch fühlt man sich direkt mitten in Barcelona!!

the room was nice and very sweet. the bed was good. ktichen und the bathroom was good too. its a nice flat.

Being there was a pleasure :) I hope, I will come back someday!

Maby it's not a 5-star hotel but it's good enough for averange tourist.
