About John
I retired in 2000 after 42 years as a sports writer/editor, the last 32 of those at The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, CA, where I was a columnist for most of those years and sports editor for the last 32. I played drums through high school (Columbus, GA, High) and college (Florida State). Now I dabble at playing a dulcimer.
