Marco 4.0 05/15/2015The location was perfect, you had the bus to NYC at the next corner, a lots of restaurants and a beautiful view of the skyline of NYC. The room was clean and you could use the kitchen for breakfast or sth.

Maison très agreable, cuisine et salle de bain à disposition. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Union City. Seul inconvénient : pas de métro et bus assez espacés dans la journée. Mais tres agreable. Nous le conseillons à tout le monde :).

Absolutely great value for money, we would definitely come back again!
We had the studio with private bathroom; there was everything you need. Quite large rooms, TV, free Wifi, working A/C.
Shared kitchen with working stove, microwave, fridge with private/reserved place, etc. .

It was a really nice place, clean and everything at hand. Like 4 blocks from there, you can have a beautiful view of Manhattan.

We very much enjoyed staying with Steve and his lovely wife. The room had everything we needed, bathroom and kitchen were clean at all times. Towels were provided, and there was even enough stuff in the bathroom; just in case you had forgotten anything... We had the feeling our hosts exactly knew what it was like to travel for a while. There was enough space to store even bigger bags in the closet, so they wouldn't be in the way, and you didn't have the feeling you had to live out of your bag. The bed was very comfy as well. We had space in the fridge so we could cook fresh stuff if we wanted to.
There are several bus stops to NYC very close by, so there was never any problem to get to the city and back. The neighbourhood is very nice, the view - just a 2 min. walk down the road - is absolutely stunning; you don't get that from an apartment in the city. A 24h supermarket was right down the road, they're selling pretty much everything you could ask for...

What a great find. Steve was very good at communicating to us how to arrive at the flat and we had no trouble. This is not luxury accommodation, but if you are on a budget visiting the New York area, it is perfect. You must go and see the New York skyline - just a 5 minute walk from the flat. It is outstanding.

Stayed in NYC for 4 days - accomondation was pretty good - perfect location for sightseeing tours - even goot for families, because you can use the kitchen - supermarket & restaurants are located near the flat. The western skyline from manhatten was clear to see with just 5 minutes walk, great at night.
For people who wanna go out for a long night - after 1 p.m. its a bit tricky to go back. -

Eine super Unterkunft in NY. Nur 10 min vom Hudson-River mit Blick af die Skyline von Manhatten. Das Zimmer ausreichend groß mit Platz für persönliche Sachen, Küche gut ausgestattet für einen Kurzurlaub und alles sauber und ordentlich.
Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld mit Steve war hervorragend, wir erhielten eine top Beschreibung um die Wohnung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
Für einen Stadturlaub jederzeit zu empfehlen.
Wir würden wieder bei Steve und Frida buchen. -

The accommodation was as described - clean and everything you need. It’s a safe neighbourhood. Free Wifi and complimentary breakfast (milk, toast, cereals) We can highly recommend the apartment!

Sehr praktische Lage. Busse nach Manhattan sehr nahe. Blick auf die Skyline.Sichere Gegend ,man konnte abends noch spazieren gehen.
Supermarkt , Restaurants um die Ecke.Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder nehmen. -

Very good apartment, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Manhattan is easily reachable via bus (10 minutes), so perfect location!

Die lage und die kurze Fahrt nach Manhattan waren wirklich super. Das Zimmer ist von der Größe perfekt und sehr ruhig. Das bad und die Küche sind klaswe und die Gastgeber sehr nett.

We had a good stay at this house during our holidays. Everything was clean. A 24h supermarket and the bus station to New York is only a few steps away. You can use the Kitchen, which is helpful for making food or using the fridge. I would recommend this place!

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Eine Bushaltestelle nach Manhattan ist gleich um die Ecke und man ist in 10 min dort, wenn der Verkehr es zulässt.. Man hat gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und es gibt eine Reihe von Imbisserien. Die Gegend ist sehr nett und es leben viele verschiedene Kulturen in der Gegend. Wer ein Luxuszimmer erwartet ist hier fehl am Platz. Für New Yorker Verhältnisse war die Unterkunft gut. Man hat alles was man benötigt.... Küche, Bad, TV, Wi-Fi, Klimaanlage hat alles gut funktioniert.

Eine sehr nette Gastgeberfamilie, Zimmer wie beschrieben.
Ein etwas anderer Urlaub als im Hotel! Klasse ist auch der Blick auf Manhatten nur kurz die Strasse hoch!! Würde das Zimmer wieder bei Steve buchen ;) Kind Regards -

Clean room and bathroom. The kitchen is very useful for breakfast. Fast bus to NYC for only 3 dollars one way.

Steve was very friendly and helpful too. As we arrived he explained us everything about the flat, the busses and the sightseeing. If we had questions, we could ask him every time.

accueil très personnalisé.D'une grande gentillesse , la maison était très propre. Cuisine à pârtager pas très pratique et le petit déjeuner très sommaire.Dans l'ensemble nous gardons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

They were really really friendly, always trying to do their best for me. Even, once, he woke up like 5.30 am to help me out catch a bus to NYC. I truly recommend them as hosts.

Although we didn't meet Steve himself, we were warmly welcomed by his lovely wife Frida. She took a lot of time and effort to make us feel at home and explained everything about the city, transportation and attractions. If you had questions she was always there. There was breakfast and coffee every morning, and she made sure we knew how to get around at the best price at every time of the day; and night :). It is absolutely priceless to have such a good host! Thanks again so much for making our stay so easy and fun!!

Gorgeous host - was really willed to explain everything, like hot spots, way to Manhattan, restaurants, etc.
We also needed one bed extra and got a bigger room without any problem. Really no complainings. Thank you -

Überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde uns im Hause alles gezeigt und erklärt. Wir haben ebenfalls Tipps bekommen, was sehenswert in der Umgebung ist. Der Gastgeber hat uns ein tolles Outlet Mall in NJ empfohlen. An einem regnerischen Tag lohnt es sich dort hinzufahren. Bei fragen stand der Gastgeber steht's zur Verfügung und war sehr offen und freundlich. Man hat trotz der Mitbewohnung seine Privatsphere. Vielen Dank!
