What a find! This is one gorgeous, eclectic, and very picturesque colonial house, located in one of the greenest and prettiest areas of Singapore. I was treated like a king from the moment I arrived. The room is cosy, yet has a desk & very comfy bed, and you are free to explore the rest of the house and grounds at your leisure. I fell in love with the decor, and the location's great too as I was able to travel back and forth from town at a moment's notice. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended *****.

Very peaceful and serene. It's impractical to get there by public transport, but then again I don't think it is meant to be accessible anyway.
I like the wood panels and airy interior. Some may find the lack of air-conditioning a surprise in tropical Singapore, but it wasn't a problem when I was visiting.

As I mentioned before, I was treated like royalty at Evelyn's, I didn't want to leave! She is an incredibly welcoming, and helpful host. Being new to the city, I was still getting my bearings but Eve went to every effort to connect me with her friends, and colleagues, and I felt well looked after. First class service. And her dogs are adorable too. If you're lucky enough to get a stay here, you'll be very happy indeed. Thanks again!!

Evelyn is a lady who's full of life. She's sure to be a first rate host for the lucky few who manage to book her place.
