For myself, I work in marketing and love travelling and meeting people from all around the world. When it comes to finding somewhere to stay, some of the best, and most fun places I have ever stayed in - and have the best memories of - are the nice, out-of-the-way places that make you feel right at home. And that, I would pick over a hotel any day!
