Über Amsterhome

I would like to just say that we did not stay in the place we booked because even though the host told his NL organisation as early as July that the original place was not available, we were not informed until the night before and only after constant inquiries over 2 days. The place we ended up in was not as finely appointed as the original one but the location was much better, and everything we needed was available. We enjoyed out stay greatly. We still found it unfortunate of the NL organisation that they did not act upon the host's information at all and therefore gave us no choice, and also no information, so that we did not even know where we were supposed to go until the host kindly got in touch to tell us. I have also discussed this with 9Flats because a change of place without knowledge of the customer is truly unacceptable and could have gone badly if the place we ended up in was not as good as it was.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist super, in der Nähe befinden sich viele Bars und Restaurants oder Imbisse. Trotzdem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und man hört nur sehr wenig Straßengeräusche.
Alles ist relativ gut zu Fuß zu erkunden, daher sollte man das Auto stehen lassen. Ca. 100 Meter weiter ist ein Parkhaus, in dem man für 45 €7 tag parken kann, das ist zwar teuer, aber für Amsterdamer Verhältnisse noch fast ein Schnäppchen.
Nicht so gut war die Ausstattung bzgl. der Betten, das Appartement ist zwar auch für mehr Leute ausgelegt und auf Rückfrage wurde mir auch versichert, dass ausreichend Schlafmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung stehen, dass diese sich dann aber größtenteils im Wohnraum befinden, wurde mir nicht gesagt. Es gibt leider nur einen Schlafraum mit Platz für 1 Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett, der Rest wird im grp0en Wohn- und Essraum untergebracht.

Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt im Zentrum von Amsterdam und in 5 min vom Bahnhof zu erreichen.
Die 3 Schlafräume boten für 4 Kinder und 3 Erwachsene ausreichend Platz.
Wir haben die zeit sehr genossen!

Wir waren 4 Frauen die ein Wochenende in Amsterdam geniessen wollten. Als erstes sind wir ins Appartement, welches wir vom bahnhof sehr gut gefunden haben. Leider unser erster schock, dass andere Leute auf dem Sofa waren und geraucht haben. Info an nichtraucher, ALLES stinkt nach rauch. Was uns leider auch nicht bekannt war, das der Gastgeber mit uns in dieser Wohnung wohnt. Uns wurde nie etwas mitgeteilt, dass wir der Besitzer dort wohnt! Wir konnten nicht einmal etwas essen kochen, da es nur 2 Gabeln und Messet hatte, zudem war es zu dreckig um etwas zu kochen. Es war ein tolles Wochenende, aber wir werden nicht mehr über diese Homepage unsere Ferien buchen, da wir nie wissen können mit wem man zusammenwohnt.

The brownie apartment was not what was expected by myself and the other 6 guests accompanying me on this trip, after some complaining to the manager we got shifted to a much nicer apartment and to his credit it was truley fab, if it hadn't of been for the manager arranging this for us we would have been pushed over the edge as we were already at boiling point.
When we arrived at the Brownie apartment it was a building site, a team of builders were there redecorating the apartment!
All in all i would say steer clear of this apartment as it is not worth the money and althought looks great on the pic's its not the same....
