"The Big Rock"
Find yourself totally immersed in natures serine environment with a swimming lake fed by two fresh water springs. Indulge in a wood fired sauna or the NEW Spring fed, no chemicals, wood fired hot tub nestled privately in the woods. (To keep rates super low, firewood and amenities usage fees for hot tub, sauna, or EV are not included in your nightly rate, please ask)! Sit around the fire pit for a cocktail! There are hundreds of miles hiking trails! Hebron falls loop is a short walk to the trail
The space
This space is located on the lower level of the main house, it has one bedroom with USB ports in the lamps, closet with hangers and shelving, storage under the bed for luggage etc. A full kitchen with all the necessary items including brand new gas range with double oven and brand new fridge pots and pans glasses, utensils etc! The bathroom is lg with tub, shower and countertop space. A full size washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. A comfortable couch. When needed there is a blow up queen mattress if more than three guests.
Some works of local artists are part of the decor. There is a set of vintage encyclopedia Britannica for the inquisitive and some books to read. WIFI access, TV has Roku with Netflix, amazon prime etc. etc.!!! You can choose your own mood with remote controlled fire feature and heating. Teas and coffee is provided please bring milk or cream!!! No need to drive you can hike from the house there are many trails to choose from!
Guest access
Access is available thru a private entrance located on the lower leval a short walk down the stairs to the left follow the path all the way to the lower deck thru the door is a mudroom please leave shoes or boots here and use provided new fresh slippers. The door on the left has a keypad please enter code and welcome yourself into a warm comfortable space!!!
Other things to note
As noted in the description I use bare bones pricing, meaning not all amenities are included in the nightly rate. To use the freshwater hot tub (no chemicals) you will need to bring firewood, there is a one time usage fee of $75 and the hot tub can be used multiple times during your stay this must be prearranged and fee paid prior to arrival! You will need tips and diy instructions! I might or not be staying in the upper part of the house during your stay, if so you lucked out and I will set up amenities for you if not around then you will have to DIY! Sauna usage fee is $40 again you will need to bring your own firewood! You will also need the tips and instructions to use this amazingly therapeutic amenity! There is no fee to use the fire pit which can also be used to cook on with supplied grates you will however need to bring your own firewood and lump charcoal for best taste. Pets there is a fee added for one pet for up to two nights on the site, however for additional pets there will be additional charges per pet per night. Please ask for the added fee for additional pets. You will be immersed in nature and you will see deer, insects, birds, fish, spiders and webs which could cast on or in the house and on outside furnishings they’ll help keep the insects in check. We do try to keep them at a minimum but they can be back in an hour. If there is an excess please let me know so they can be removed.
