My name is Virginie, I am 27 year old French woman living in New York. I am a video director and editor. I take care of this loft apartment with Michael an artist who lives the apartment below, so we are both here to make sure our guests feel confortable and have everything they need :)))

Very nice apartment with brand new appliances and a great shower. Excellent interior design, from the Victorian chaise lounge to the large wall prints and mirrors in the bedroom. I would recommend this accommodation.

Great location only 20 min with the J train from Lower Manhattan. Very clean, spacious room and appartment, wih great cooking facilities. the bathroom is impeccable and even features a bath tub. Adding a wardrobe in the room would help to further improve the comfort.

If somebody wants to know how it feels, to live in a neighborhood with no fancy shops, hardly any other tourists and "normal" people, than this is the place to go! The A-line Subway is just a short walk down the road and within minutes you are in downtown Manhattan! There are two really nice Cafes close to the station where they serve excellent breakfast. (Dahlia´s Cafe and another place). The pizza for 99cent is a nice take away, when you come home late at night. A laundry is a blocks away from the subway. There are shops for anything you need. We shared the apartment with other people, but we were away most of the time, so this was no big deal.
BUT: The apartment is in the third floor and there is no elevator. The house from the outside is ok, but the stairway was really, really dirty and at the entrance to the apartment was an old carpet rolled together...! The whole building is under renovation and I am sure, it will end up as a real jewel, but there still is a long way to go...! -

Virginie and Marco picked us up from the subway station and they were very helpful with everything. Check-in and check-out was easy going. Overall, we had a great time here and enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn!
With a little more effort on cleaning and some more little details (TV(?), wardrobe, small cupboard, some books, a cleaner stairway, roof terrace(?), this place will become extraordinary good!! ;-) -
