I'm a non-smoker, a willing cook and a respectful guest. I grew up in a rural town in New Hampshire, USA. I love a good meal and a proper chat. I live in South Sudan (the world's newest country since 9 July 2011), where I work for the United Nations supporting small-scale agriculture, rural livelihoods and community development.

Helen 5.0 2012-01-09Vincent Valdmanis arrived in our Amsterdam home when we were away on holiday and left the house in the state of great disarray. Despite the mess and the necessity to get the keys and instructions as well as the first welcome through the neighbor, Vincent proved to be a very grateful and responsible guest (as well as 'a very nice person' as our neighbor has reported). He even fed our aquarium fish and left the house looking neater (we thought) than when he arrived. Due to our e-mail correspondence we have learned of Vincent's work and travels from Sudan to New York. Five stars for Vincent!!!
