I'm a researcher from Boston. My parents offer a great property at the Historical Peninsula in Istanbul. We all speak English. Me and my brother we speak German. My dad speaks French.

Keith 4.0 2013-10-06Ideally situated to explore the Sultanhamet area with the main attractions only 15 minutes walk away. Limited facilities for those wanting to seriously self cater but eating out is very cheap.

The apartment has a unique position with a fantastic panoramic view over the sea. The apartment is in a quiet street and close to the world famous sight seeings in Istanbul - Sultanahmed (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, ...). The apartment was perfectly clean and very well maintained. We highly recommend this apartment.

Logement confortable (grand lit double) et spacieux pour deux personnes . Mais la cuisine est réduite à son strict minimum. Ne pas envisager de cuisiner vu le peu d'ustensiles disponibles et l'absence de tout four même à micro-ondes. Pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle non plus. Fort heureusement le quartier est très calme et idéalement situé à 5 minutes à pied des monuments incontournables d'Istanbul. Et on trouve à se restaurer aussi pour un prix modique en suivant indications de notre hôte.

The flat is specious and has a good sea view. The flat has two single beds which are not perfect for a cosy night for a couple however the matreses are nice and comfortable.

We had a really good time in Istanbul and hope to come back one day. To stay in Sultanahmed is more than perfect, because you can do everything by foot... We liked to stay at Taners house - and the seaview is beautiful!!! :-)

The house is beautifully located. It was walking distance to pretty much all of the monuments. It is a very peaceful and authentic district. I enjoyed the area. The host family is great. Tansel and his father were very attentive and helpful. I loved the bread in the morning. Great location. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Host and family were very welcoming on our arrival. They gave us an Istanbulkart to make travel easier and loads of leaflets about places to visit.

The hosts of the apartment were very pleasant and polite. Although we arrived late and could not inform our hosts, they welcomed us very friendly. We enjoyed the kind attention of our hosts and the willingness to help at any time.

Le père du loueur nous a très bien accueilli. C'est un homme charmant qui parle un excellent français et qui nous a proposé de faire un tour de reconnaissance du quartier au lendemain de notre arrivée. Il nous a donné des renseignements très utiles. Merci à lui pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.
