I love meeting new people from all over the world and love to travel myself! I have been living in Amsterdam like 4ever and can also give you lots of tips if you want to travel to Africa. Sharing experiences is what makes us grow as people and thats what I enjoy doing!

The room is rather small and there is only little furniture in there, but it's neat.
It's not possible to lock the door and you hear almost everything that happens in the flat (and everyone can hear you).
We were told not to leave our toiletries and towels in the bathroom because there were other guests and we couldn't use the kitchen and had no fridge or anything else.
The bathroom with the shower is used by up to eight persons, so it's non-stop occupied in the morning.
The location is ok; it's not in the centre but it's quite close to a metro station.
All in all we would say that it was quite ok for a short stay. -

Very simple room. You can't do any noise without beeing heard from all the others. The room is ok, a table in the room would be great!

The rooms are neat and comfortable. It's a bit outside of the city centre but you can reach it via tram within 15 minutes.

Man bucht ein Zimmer in einer Wohnung. Die Küche und das Badezimmer teilt man sich mit anderen Gästen/dem Gastgeber. Das Zimmer ist von der Größe her OK. Leider befindet sich in dem Zimmer nur ein Doppelbett und ein kleiner IKEA-Schrank. Es fehlen einfach Möbel, um sich zu setzen oder seine Sachen abzulegen. ABER man kann das "private" Zimmer nicht verschließen. Es besteht für den Gastgeber/für andere Gäste also die jederzeitige Möglichkeit , das gebuchte Zimmer in der eigenen Abwesenheit zu betreten. Insgesamt gibt es zwei Badezimmer (beide sauber!!). In dem größeren befindet sich eine Dusche und ein WC, in dem anderen nur ein WC. Es ist den Gästen nur gestattet, das externe WC zu nutzen. Das angebotene Frühstück ist von der Menge her ausreichend und günstig. Leider lässt auch das Küchenmobiliar nicht viel Freiraum zu. Die Sauberkeit der Küche lässt zu wünschen übrig. Für einen Kurztrip nach Amsterdam ist die Unterkunft OK. Längerfristig hätten wir uns nicht wohl gefühlt!

The flat is easy to reach by car which was very comfortable for us, because it was our first trip to Amsterdam. 10 minutes from the flat is a free parking area. And within 20minutes you can reach the city center by metro. The flat itself is very clean and we didn´t miss anything.

Nice flat on the 4th floor, a 10 minute walk followed by a 15 minute metro ride to Central Station, so a little out of the way for those wishing to be very central

The communication before our stay in the flat was a bit fragmentary and when we came there we didn't really feel very welcome. When we checked in we got a map and some information about Amsterdam; after that there was no more communication and we were never asked if we needed anything or if everything was ok.

Die Gastgeberin ist eine sehr nette Person. Beim Check-Inn werden alle wichtigen Sachen erklärt (ÖPNV-Verbindungen). Zudem werden auf einer Stadtkarte etwaige Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt, erklärt und markiert.
Aufgrund unseres kurzen Aufenthalts und wohl durch die negativen Aspekte der Unterkunft hatte man ansonsten nichts weiter miteinander zu tun.
Die Kaution (100,00€) und eine verlangte Kopie des Personalausweises wurden nach einer kurzen Überprüfung des Zimmers umgehend ausgehändigt. -

Everytime she was open minded for our questions.
When we come back to Amsterdam someday, she will be our first choice again. :) -
