Jan didn't get the discount he asked for and got obviously upset.
And that's because he complained once the holiday was over and he was back in his country.
Nevertheless I appreciate his feedback about some issues previous guests never mentioned:
-The mattress is hard. Many happen to like it but it's not for everyone I guess.
-The cupboard smells of humidity. that's the downside of being onthe seafront line. Will use salt crystals..
-Fruit baskets are no longer there because most people wouldn't eat them. I should have deleted it from the description, so that's my fault.
We of course had problems regarding communication; I failed to see he was having such an awful time. Maybe I should work more on my emotional intelligence, facial mimics reading, fortune telling?? One should never stop learning.
Although I would have appreciated a bit more straightforwardness, I would still recommend him and his partner as guests since they left the apartment in good conditions.
