I've was born in Lisbon, but lived in Cascais most part of life. I was a tour guide, so I know the city's history and hidden gems. At the present I work in the portuguese movie industry.

Sitting here remembering the wonderful time staying at Mr.Bernardos home around this time last year.
We were welcomed into Mr.Bernardo's home and treated even better than guests !
We had the warmest of welcomes.
The house was spotless and beautifully decorated.
The setting was magnificent and you could not ask for a better location in Lisbon !
The home was modern yet tasteful with subtle touches of the past with antique pieces of family heirlooms co existing within the appointed rooms.
We also met the mother of the family who was a pure delight and very beautiful.
They both helped us with anything our hearts could desire.
They told us where to go for the best places to shop, dine and to visit during our stay.
They were a wealth of information !
Oh,if you are a lover of old Portuguese cinema or Portuguese cinema in general,Mr.Bernardo is an expert & quite knowledgeable in this field. -

Atemberaubender Blick über Lissabon von der Terasse aus. Sehr schön renoviert und exclusiv eingerichtetes Appartment zum Wohlfühlen! Besser ohne Auto anreisen, die Wohnung liegt direkt am Castelo, freie Parkplätze quasi, naja, Mangelware... Manchmal Hellhörig was die darüberliegende Wohnung angeht. Alles in allem wieder Wunschwohnung beim nächsten Lissabon-Trip!! Danke!!!

situated in a nice neighborhood, great view especially at night, very clean, very well equipped. in short: all you are looking for in order to have a fantastic stay in this very interesting and charming city!

They were so kind to us we wanted to treat their house with the utmost respect(even more than normal),so when there was a small accident because of the wind which lead to a broken glass window we were devastated & heart broken.
We did not want them to think that we were careless within their bright,airy,sun filled piece of paradise.
We immediately contacted them to tell them what had occurred & they were very understanding &sympathetic.
It was by far one of the most relaxing,worthwhile,stays we both ever had& would do it again in a heart beat !
They gave us not only their home to stay in but also their heart which made us fall in love with the Portuguese people even more.
It was not fake,.it was genuine & you could feel it.
Staying at their place is a pure pleasure that one should not miss.
You are want for nothing staying at this establishment &everything you may want is catered for .
It was a unique satisfying stay,.& for this..again we say we have " Saudades de Lisboa ! " -

Everything was perfect. The location is only ten minutes walk from Rossio place.
To sit on the balcony with the view to the city is fantastic.
We did not miss anything :-)
Bernardo is a very friendly person. He gave us a very warm welcome.
We would recommend this appartment every time to other guests and our friends. -

bernardo is a very nice and friendly host. everything went smoothly and uncomplicated. what to say: I can recommend him and his apartment warmly!
