I have been a world traveller throughout my life and have lived also in various countries (Sweden, Japan, America, New Zealand, India & Israel). I am quite sociable and enjoy living with other people and flatsharing.

At first, you have to think what is importent to you, if you go on a city-trip : If you prefer a low priced one, but for all central, then go for this apartment. Your expectation can´t be a 5*Hotel. From this point of view I´m range the review. We had a perfect host, perfect location - very closed to the city, actually it is in the city. We want to say THANK YOU to Arlette and Martin, for your tipps and hospitality. The appartement is small but enough. The roof-terrace is amazing, beautiful view to Big Ben.

Das Bett mit der LED Beleuchtung und den vielen indischen Kissen in dem kleinem Schlafzimmer war schon das Beste an dem Aufenthalt. Im Schlafzimmer konnte man nocht nicht mal den Koffer öffnen, so wenig Platz gab es zwischen Bett und Wand. Die Küche war sehr unsauber. Aus dem Mülleinmer kamen Scharen von Obstfliegen. Der Teekessel stank wie ein Gülleeimer. Unmöglich sich darin heisses Wasser zuzubereiten. Bad war klein und eng und wir vermieden es zu duschen. Irgendwie alles unsauber. Jedoch gab es durch die vielen Pflanzen, auch auf der Dachterrasse mit schönem Blick auf das Londoneye, ein Highlight.

Lovely room with a big, comfortable bed. The flat itself is quite small but for a short stay it is perfectly alright, we did not miss anything.

Kleines, aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Die gesamte Wohnung ist zwar klein, aber es gibt eine unglaublich schöne Dachterasse, die genutzt werden darf. Zudem ist die Unterkunft super zentral gelegen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir wohnten 9 Nächte in einem Viktorianischen Haus in einem niedlichen Zimmer. In Streetview konnten wir sogar die Straße und das Haus uns vorher ansehen. Die Beschreibung des Zimmers und der Umgebung passten.
Besonders hat mir die tolle Dachterrasse, der Ausblick von dort und unsere netten Gastgeber haben mir/uns gefallen.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist einfach toll. Mit dem Bus oder Tube kommt man von dort überall hin. Abends ist es ruhig. Supermärkte und Imbisse sind in der Nähe. Auch Spielplätze für Kinder. Alles in Allem hat es uns dort sehr gefallen. Meine Tochter und ich würden auch nochmals dorthin fahren. -

We were trying to do london on a really low budget which is mainly why we chose this flat. The room and location were beyond any expectation for the price!
Will definitely be sharing this with others visiting london.

Good location for a weekend trip to London! Room equipped with everything you need, even a water kattle is available in the room. Converters for the electricity are also provided :) Bed is comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet.
With metro you can reach the centre within 10 minutes. Alternative: Take the bike! There are many bike-hire stations in the city and 3-4 stations are also close to the appartment, a cheap way to discover the city :)

Eine sehr tolle Unterkunft mit einem zauberhaften Bett! Die Lage war Top und die Beschreibungen stimmten überein. Ein absolutes Higlight war die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Big Ben und Westminster Abbey. Öffentliches Verkehrsmittel in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Innenstadt ist gut zu erreichen, da es mehrere Underground- und Busstations in der Nähe gibt. Gerne wieder! -

The room is very nice and cosy. There's enough storage to pack your stuff and the bed is huge. The flat as such is pretty small, especially the bathroom, nonetheless everything is clean and nice. The flat has a roof terrace which is beautiful. Unfortunately we couldn't use it as we visited in winter.

Unsere Unterkunft ist genauso wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, wirklich schön gewesen. Die Dachterasse war einfach traumhaft! Viele bunte Blumen und eine tolle Aussicht. Bus und U-Bahn sind mit 3 min. Fußweg zu erreichen. Jeden Morgen haben wir ein kleines Frühstück serviert bekommen.
Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder... -

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön. Die Wohnung war in einem typischen englischen Haus. Das Zimmer war sehtr sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett ist super bequem.

Very nice Place and Secure ...........It´s not so far away from the Central of London you need only few minutes to the Subway or to the Shop Center ..........I highly recommend it

Es un magico y pequeño hogar acogedor,muy luminoso,barrio muy tranquilo pero con servicios cercanos y el el metro a 5 minutos.La cama es muy comoda y la estancia muy confortable.

The room looks just like in the pictures and the flat is only a 4 minutes walk to the tube. If yo have nice weather you should definitely take your breakfast on the roof - the roof garden has a marvellous view. Best value :) Thank you for everything!

Everything was as described, except that we even got a great breakfast every day. The flat is excellently connected by public transport.

Very good room, comfortable bed, exterior room and good heating. Very basic but proper toilet, hot water, etc. Room very basic but accurate, sufficient for cooking, microwave, refrigerator, kitchen, etc. He is comfortable in it.Well located. 25 Minutes walk from Big Ben. Well communicated by metro and bus.

arlette was very polite and available for everything and she take care that everything was well even if she wasn't in the house. the terace was amaizing and the view breath taking...it was nice being in london.

Arlette und Martin sind ein tolles Paar - interessiert und offen, freundlich und hilfsbereit und mit guten Stadtteiltipps auf Lager. Es entsteht schnell eine sehr persönliche/freundschaftliche Stimmung, dass macht es besonders und macht den absoluten Unterschied zu einem anonymen Hotelaufenthalt.

War selten präsent. Hat nichts gegen die Unsauberkeit getan. Keinen Mülleimer geleert. Jedoch hat er immer Aufbackbrötchen am Morgen und frische Eier besorgt. Ansonsten eher zurückhaltend und unaufdringlich.

Beide Gastgeber waren sehr sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit in allem (vor der Anreise und auch bei der Abreise). Die offene hilfsbereite Art der Gastgeber hat mir sehr gefallen. Am ersten Tag wurden uns die wichtigsten Supermärkte, Märkte, Busstation gezeigt. Insider Tipps wurden auch direkt gegeben (z.B. was beim Markt zu beachten ist).
Wir wurden auch zum Grillen eingeladen.
Der offenen Kontakt mit unseren Gastgebern, die netten Nachbarn im Haus hat uns gut gefallen. Die Freundlichkeit hat es uns einfach gemacht, uns dort wohlzufühlen. -

I didn't actually meet Arlette as she was away when I stayed, and her partner was there instead. He was a nice chap, and it was no problem for me, but I could foresee that for some women travelling alone that might not be a comfortable situation, especially as this was not explained in advance.
Also, I was left adrift on the afternoon I was due to arrive as I was unable to make any phone or email contact to check that someone would be there to let me in. This had me very worried, potentially being stuck in a strange city, and by the time it was all sorted out it was late, I was exhausted, and I missed being able to go out as I'd planned for the evening.
The room is lovely, the breakfast great and Arlette's partner was very kind in the morning in taking me to the tube station, but I think there should be an improvement in communication with visitors. -

Wie wurden sehr lieb empfangen. Es gab jeden Tag ein Frühstück auf der schönen Dachterasse. Wir konnten uns wie zu Hause fühlen und alles mitbenutzen. Wenn man will kann abends auch mal mit den Gastgebern zusammen sitzen und quatschen. Am letzten Abend gabs sogar Sushi für uns. Arlette und Martin haben wirklich alles getan, damit wir uns wie zu Hause fühlen.
