Nicola's big apartment next to Vatican is a nice, modern 4-star level quality experience...the three bedrooms are large, with tall ceilings, and nicely furnished. Mattresses superb! Each room was enjoyable in itself and the rooms are laid out to be enjoyed during the day as well as at night...so, we didn't miss the absence of a dedicated living room. The kitchen worked well, too, with an induction-style stove top.

The location is ideal if St Peter and Vatican Museum are part of your Rome itinerary. With a 1st floor (European)/2nd story (U.S.), the access to the street level is quick while yet being private enough.
The location is walkable to Trastevere neighborhood and the neighborhood of Pantheon. The Colosseum is an easy metro ride away.
Grocery shopping is available within four walking blocks. Coffee and pastry bars, restaurants and gelato shops are all directly on the square which the apartment is on. Brand name (Italian, not international) clothes shopping is down the street.
