The flat is perfect for a visit to Funchal. It is quiet and private and the balcony has a direct view of the sea, with no other buildings in the way. The balcony doesn't get direct sun until about lunchtime which was perfect for me as I could sit in the morning for breakfast, enjoy the view, but not worry about getting sunburnt! There's also a private pool for residents/guests set in a terraced garden. The centre of Funchal is 25 minutes walk (great for site seeing) or about 5 minutes in a taxi, of which there are plenty. I recommend this flat wholeheartedly for your holiday and hope to visit again soon.

Placed in the old part of the city, only a little walk down to the city center. Has a Lovely garden, where you can relax in the sun and also be able to catch the internet at certain areas, which for me was lovely, then I could do studies outside. A wonderfull place, where you fell at home when you enter it. (:

Jorge studio was even much better than on the pictures. the small modern flat was cozy, the bed was enormously comfortable and kitchen offered theperfect space witha table by the window to prepare soem nice dished with the food we could buy on the market. The small town of poto de cruz where the flat is located is just lovely! the people are friendy helpful and we found there the perfect palce to relax!
