My husband and I have lived in Fairbanks Alaska since 1990 and love it here, though we also like to travel to other places. We have spent quite a bit of time in England (Oxford and London especially) due to my husband's research, but now that he has retired from university teaching we get to explore more of the world. We do a lot of homeswapping, and when we can't arrange homeswaps, we prefer to make accommodation arrangements with places like 9flats, so that we can stay in apartments or homes rather than hotels.

sasa 2.0 10/17/2012I had many difficulties to communicate with Elisabeth.
She wrote the day after their check in in complaining in a very exaggerate way cause they had not hot water, she also wrote this
" with no way to get help with them"
Just note she wrote on 8 in the morning I replied in two hours!
Why with no way to get help with them???
We went to the apartment and we found she had turned a valve at the heater inside the shower that's why she had no hot water!
That's not true the remote control was inaccessible!
When they arrived it was two weeks no guests were demanding for air conditioning so it was at my apartment .
Can't understand why she didn't say they had it on next day of their arrival.
The guest made many problems for everything and she is very difficulty to satisfy and the biggest problem is that she didn't say we solved everything the next day of their arrival!
I would never rent the apartment to Mrs Elisabeth again.
