Great place! It's a short bit away from the main road, so it's very calm and quiet. My favorite part was the two big windows that open onto the yard, allowing lots of fresh air and a relaxing view. The trees give a lot of shade, and you can listen to the sound of the leaves blowing. I spent long times at the window bench for every morning coffee.

All the necessary basics are there: linens, towels, washing machine, small fridge, stove-top, dishes, cooking pots, and a REALLY nice shower.

It's not a sterile, boring, Ikea tourist apartment. It has unique quirks, books, and personal items. It's like staying at a friend's house but the friend isn't home. I would absolutely stay here again (and to be honest, I really hope I will!).

Highly recommended for those who want to be in the historic area, and appreciate a relaxing, cozy, human atmosphere.

It's a family neighborhood, so would not recommend for party people.

Nice and clean apartment. Excellent position to visit the city (alfama).
