The flat was spacious, clean, and comfortable.The location of this flat was excellent, as it was only a block from the train station and tram stop. We had several possibilities for groceries and restaurants within steps of the flat as well. Our group of seven was very comfortable.

We (a couple of two) did get the largest bedroom with a king size bed and two queen size beds - the room was huge and lovely decorated.
We did feel like king&queen in the room with the lovely chandelier and the nice picasso (re-)painting opposite the bed.
-> So I'd really recommend the location.However I did not rate with five stars due to following shortcommings:
- the wifi was _really_ weak and flaky, especially in the room. This is not really helpful when you have to organize your trip on the fly.- the bathroom wasn't as "private" as indicated, as it was used by other guests/someone working there too.
This wasn't much of a problem for us, we never had to queue/wait.
However the shower is one of the _best_ I've used yet!!- and what disappointed us the most: the kitchen shown in the pictures is part of the private quarters of the house manager, thus there is NO kitchen for guests!
Great stay nevertheless!

This really is a fabulous apartment! It has everything you need and even more, e.g. the dishwasher and the huge flat screen tv. The apartment was clean and we were thankfully provided with a welcome package (food for breakfast) and umbrellas!
The Dalry Colonies is a very nice, picturesque and quiet neighbourhood for your stay in Edinburgh.
There is a supermarket (co-operative) in walking distance (5 minutes) and the city (e.g. Princes Street) is just about two bus stops or a 10 minutes walk from the apartment.We've really enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much!
