Sobre Konstantina
Hi! My name is Konstantina and I live in Alimos, Athens, Greece. I'm an MBA Graduate and currently a business development consultant in the travel industry, so, don't hesitate to ask me anything you want regarding your stay in Greece! I've traveled a lot and I am a fan of value for money accommodation. That is why I will do my best to provide you anything I would like to be provided with!! :) I speak English, Greek and some German. Visit Greece and get a first hand of Greek hospitality during your stay at my apartment. I'll make sure you will! Thanks Konstantina

The apartment is a little way out of Athens, but once you get your bearings, you realise that it is actually really accessible (since it is only a short walk to the train station). The apartment is nice, spacious and has a balcony as a bonus. The kitchen facilities aren't bad, although there's not a proper oven. The write-up doesn't explain that it's at the top of a very steep hill, which should be a genuine consideration for anyone who suffers from a heart condition or shortness of breath. You also have to pay a security deposit on arrival (100 euros) which I don't feel the host's write-up explains; I also wouldn't bank on getting it back. The best thing about the place is the little town it's in- the people here were lovely, there is a local market, and a really nice atmosphere. However, given a serious altercation with the host, I wouldn't choose to stay here again, although I can seriously recommend the general location.

This is a great little apartment with plenty of space and a wonderful outside patio as a bonus. The apartment is close to the bus and metro lines and only 15 minutes from the center of Athens, but it is truly suburban and far away from all the touristy hustle and bustle. It was perfect for us and our 10 year old daughter. Very family friendly.

The host's behaviour towards myself and my partner was disgusting and discriminatory. She took 100 euros from myself upon arrival, without having informed me that she would take a security deposit, or discussing the figure of the deposit (something the terms of 9flats demands). She writes that the room includes the facility of a laundurette, but when I used this facility, she locked my clothes in the room for hours and I felt humiliated in having to ask her for them back. Upon departure, she came to inspect the apartment and it seemed to me that she was looking for something wrong with it; she found a slight waterstain on a cupboard (which I was 99% sure I didn't cause) and demanded 50 euros for it. When I challenged the absurd fee, she closed the apartment door and began to scream at me. She showed me other faults with the room for which she charged similar amounts- but had never resolved, like a burn on the cooker surface. Clearly a money-making scheme. Her behaviour was despicable.

The hardest part about leaving this apartment was saying goodbye to our host. She was lovely, we simply adored her. She was filled with helpful hints, suggestions, ideas, and thoughts, all of which made our stay more enjoyable. She was always available, which was very nice to say the least.
