We signed up with 9 Flats to find private properties to rent as opposed to staying in cramped, over-priced hotel rooms full of amenities we never use. We like the feel of being part of the local population and enjoying the life as if we're actually living wherever we go. It's very hard to do that when receiving the unwanted attention/"courtesies" that come with staying in hotels.
