Game of Thrones (GOT)
|
Television adaptation of the cycle of novels "A Song of ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin", this series of fantastic genre is probably the most famous of recent years. Set in an imaginary world, it narrates the struggle for the conquest of the throne among the most powerful and noble families of the Westeros (Western) and Essos (Eastern) continents. Winner of 59 Emmy Awards, this series, which unfolds in 8 seasons (73 episodes) has seen countless beautiful locations. We present to you that of Fortress Lovrijenac in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
|
|
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Perched on the edge of the Adriatic Sea, the historic walled city of Dubrovnik is the jewel in the crown of Croatia’s tourist industry. Enclosed by a city wall which dates back to the twelfth century, the old town area of Dubrovnik is a delightful maze of narrow alleyways and cobbled streets, where time is never an issue as it always seems to be standing still. Containing a plethora of churches, palaces and historic houses, it is no wonder that this ancient area of Dubrovnik has been afforded UNESCO World Heritage Status.

Fortress Lovrijenac
Imposing and massive, the Red Fortress, so named in the fantastic saga of "the Game of Thrones", stands on a small rocky hill that rises from the sea, as if to guard the magnificent, facing city of Dubrovnik.
The Fortress provides suggestive views for fantastic photos of the crystalline sea and its islands but, above all, of Dubrovnik, from here even more magnificent, enclosed in the protective embrace of its legendary city walls.
For lovers of the aforementioned series, it is truly exciting to think that many scenes of the noble series were filmed and set here, including the episode about the mythical battle of the Black Waters.

Albuquerque
Also known locally as Duke City, it is the most populous city in New Mexico.
The Old Town is certainly the most touristic area of the city but it is absolutely worth a visit. You will find yourself strolling among colorful houses, peppers hanging from the doors, shops selling ethnic handicrafts, souvenirs from Breaking Bad and Mexican restaurants. The cultural mix that characterizes New Mexico where Mexicans, Americans and Natives live together peacefully is even more evident in the old city.
retrace the emblematic places of the series through a dedicated tour. You have two options: to independently organize a DIY route by entering the location addresses on the navigator, or to book one of the many organized tours. Not to be missed:
- Walter and Skyler's House: found at 3828 Piermont Dr NE.
- Los Pollos Hermanos (actually it's a fast food chain called Twisters): 4257 Isleta Blvd SW
- Duplex by Jesse and Jane: located at 323-325 Terrace Street SE

Outlander
|
Created by Ronald D. Moore, Outlander is a television transposition of a cycle of novels by Diana Gabaldon.
Also known as the Saga of Claire Randall, it tells the story of the military nurse Claire who since 1945, finds herself living back in 1743 in Scotland, where the Jacobite insurgency rages.
Our heroine finds herself divided between two different eras and two men: her husband, left in 1945 and Jamie Fraser, known in the past, in Scotland.
Historical, amorous and model interlacing characterize this series that will leave you glued to the screen. Filmed in Scotland, the series offers countless and enchanting locations. We chose Glencoe
|
|
Glencoe
Famous for its peaks, streams and waterfalls, the beautiful Glencoe valley is certainly a destination not to be missed on a trip to Scotland.
Nearby, in Fort William, you can also admire the monument of Glenfinnan, famous for being the place that started the second Jacobite insecurity of 1745

Narcos
|
DEA agent Steve Murphy tells us the story of Pablo Escobar, the richest, the most powerful, the most cruel and (perhaps) the most famous drug dealer ever. The one who created and led the Medellin cartel. A story that may seem stereotyped of the struggle between evil and good, but which, given the historical context of Reagan's America, gives us a different view of history, thanks also to the ability of the director José Padilha.
The series is set in Colombia and mainly in Medellin. And Colombia is the undisputed home of magical realism, thus providing the key to a unique interweaving between true and narrated history.

Medellin
Also known as the "City of Eternal Spring", Medellin is a veritable wonder hidden among the Andes. Friendly and welcoming inhabitants, street artists at every corner, unique dance floors are the backdrop to this city of a thousand souls. Add to this a rich and certainly surprising gastronomy and a unique public transport system that allows you to discover the city from above: all this and much more is Medellin.
From a violent city that was in the early nineties, Medellin has been able to reinvent itself and become one of the most innovative city: a plethora of museums, wonderful city walks, unique breathtaking views. Medellin is just waiting to be visited.
