Kissed by nature, many sunny days even in winter and beautiful thermal springs. Probably the most famous ski resort in Switzerland. 3 skiing areas: Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza. Fast and comfortable lifts with numerous covered chairlifts, especially in the Corviglia ski area. The latter is exposed to the sun for almost the whole day, while the area of Corvatsch is in the shade and, consequently, particularly suitable for skiing in the late afternoon. In addition, also in Corvatasch, every Friday evening, from 7 pm, is illuminated a beautiful track, the Chastelets: 4.2 km long, about 900 meters in altitude, red track. Funny, not very difficult, it winds in the heart of the mountain, with a breathtaking view and ends in the woods. Not to be forgotten is the famous Cresta Run skeleton rink and the natural ice rink for bob sleighing. Here, cross-country skiing is also at home with more than 200 km of slopes in the Engadin St. Moritz area with spectacular lake slopes (Maloja, Sils, Silvaplana, St. Moritz). Also in Engadin St. Moritz there are 5 official toboggan runs.

At the foot of the Matterhorn, near Monte Rosa. Located at the end of the Mattertal Valley, it can only be reached by train. A future-oriented village with a unique focus on the environment: only electric vehicles are allowed in the village, the lifts are ISO 14001 certified and the restaurants at high altitudes are equipped with photovoltaic systems that guarantee energy self-sufficiency. Zermatt is part of the Matterhorn Ski Paradise ski area, which offers 360 km of slopes, 32 km of which are for free-riding. Specifically, Zermatt boasts about 162 km of slopes. We remember the long descent from the 3883 meters of the Little Matterhorn down to the village, through the glacier of Plateau Rosà. Do not miss a trip with the train that from Zermatt, through breathtaking views, tunnels in the snow and walls of snow, leads up to the Gornergrat (3135 mt.) Also the underground funicular is to be tried. For freestyle lovers, there is the Snowpark Zermatt. Fans of ski mountaineering have the opportunity to try the Haute Route, a route that can be done on foot (180 km and 12 days) or on skis (180 km and 7 days).

Located in the Bernese Oberland, at the foot of the Jungfrau at 1274 meters on a natural terrace exposed to the sun and sheltered from the winds, this small town will make you relive the magic of yesteryear: closed to the traffic of petrol and diesel cars, only electric cars and horse-drawn sleighs circulate. Particularly suitable for families. It offers about 112 km of ski slopes of easy and medium difficulty. But here you will also find the famous Lauberhorn downhill run: a very difficult and technical run, part of the Ski World Cup Circuit, with slopes of up to 90% and a duration of over 2 minutes. The special slalom slope Männlichen/Jungfrau is also worth a try. Take the "Wengennalpbahn" train to Lauterbrunnen, which will take you over Wengen to the Mannlichen/Small Scheidegg ski area at 3479 metres of Jungfraujoch. The ski area is the Jungfrau Top Ski and also includes other resorts such as Grindelwald, Wilderswil, Lauterbrunnen - Mürren, Interlaken. At high altitudes the slopes of kleine, Scheidegg, Schilthorn, Lauberhorn, Mannlichen are very difficult and extremely technical. Here you can also do ice climbing between the crevasses of the glaciers and snow kiting.
