Pedro´s and Maria`appartment is right in the middle of the old part of the Alfama quartier - a lot of nice places around -to go out for a meal, a drink or simply enjoy the atmosphere of Fado Bars. At the same time it was a quiet place, nice to come home to, easy to find and very close to all interesting sights. A good place to start exploring Lissabon. Very clean and tidy! Fantastic bed!

The flat was just as described, very clean and very nice but a little small for me as I am a big man. I would certainly go back again. We had some problems getting to the apartment as we got a rogue taxi who told us he could not reach the apartment and drove round and round and then wanted to drop us off with luggage. Leaving apartment Pedro and Maria booked our taxi to the door and everything was fine. Pedro and Maria very helpful at all times. You need to be reasonably fit to stay in Alfama. Narrow cobbled streets climb up and down and it is very hilly making walking tiring. There are many good eating places near the apartment at all sorts of prices. Excellent for seafood

We especially appreciated Pedro`s helpfulness to all our requests. He is a perfect host - considering, supportive and helpful and responsible! He even picked us up to make sure we don`t get lost the first day! Thanks a lot for all, dear Pedro!
