A propos de Emanuela
We are young couple in mid thirties, and we have four year old son André. I am originally from Belgrade, Serbia, and my husband Rui is from Lisbon, Portugal. Both of us are professionals in areas that don't have much in common with tourism: he runs a small construction company and I used to work for many years as a theatre and tv producer in Belgrade. However, in a lack of job in Portugal, we've decided to start a business about which we didn't know much at the time, but we had a good will and lot of good ideas to make it work out. We started renting one apartment in the oldest district of Lisbon - Alfama, and it turns out that we really enjoy doing it. Lisbon is so called "city break" town, and many tourists stay inhere only for a few days. The result was meeting new people from all over the world, sharing stories from here and there, learning and having fun. When I came to live inhere, I used to walk a lot, discovering Lisbon and it's hidden sides. Today, I adore sharing these secrets and giving tips that our guests can't find easily in tourist guides. However, the key isn't only in our hands, but in Alfama itself: cobblestone streets and alleys, old buildings and in a way of life which gives you an impression that you are in the medieval village, but yet, in the middle of the town. Later on, another opportunity popped up: we've found one small apartment in a great place at the entrance to Alfama, right in front of National Pantheon. The apartment was in a very bad shape, but we've put Rui's knowledge of renovation into work, and a bit of my taste in arrangements. Now, it is a great small studio full of light, situated in one of the most beautiful places in Lisbon. Other than this, we are a couple like many others: we adore travelling, good music, cinema and theater, even staring to our favorite tv series. We love animals, especially dogs, and we are learning how to be a kid again with a help of our son...

Gregor 5.0 11/08/2015It was like to have his own flat at another place. There is everything you need in the apartment even a lot of useful things for children (cuddling toys :-) ). Around the location you can get to grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, metro, taxi, train within a few minutes (2-10) by feet! We´ve discovered a lot of small beautiful alleys and recognized that downtown and a lot of very nice viewpoints are also close to the place. There is no need for the question, where I prefer to stay, when I visit Lisboa again :-)

We had a beautiful two-week stay in this cosy apartment. The location is great to explore the city centre of Lisbon on foot. We didn't miss anything.

Nice apartment in Alfama with friendly neighborhood. The proximity to Santa Apolonia station is the best part of this property.

The studio is perfect and offers everything you need. Centrally located it is a good base for discovering lovely Lissabon.

Very sweet apartment! The location is great. In my opinion better than to stay in Baixa etc. Nice neighborhood with a lot of little restaurants. Facilities as described. The apartment and the bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable. I stayed in Lisbon many times before and it was the best bed. Would definitely come back if in Lisbon again!

Right next to a church and Lisbons fleamarket you have a small comfortable space of your own. In which everything is well organised and thougt of by a lovely host. A great place to stay!!!

Die Wohnung liegt wunderschön in dem nach unserer Meinung schönsten und liebenswerten Stadtteil Alfama. Sie ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, man hat dort alles was man braucht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort. Vielen Dank den Gastgebern!

Totally lovely! Within a few hours I received a booking confirmation from the host and get also some information how to get there, where to go out for dinner, where to buy some food and what I will find at the apartment. When we arrived we get instructions in the apartment and also how to get to different places. During our destination we were asked if everything is okay and if need anything. The host makes us the stay and the time to enjoy Lisboa as comfortable as I ever could imagine.
