Heather is half American half British from a family descended from Italians, French and Egyptians. I love nature, travel, arts and work as a photographer & producer. Heather traveled in UK/Europe for extended 3-6 month work/vacation trips. My husband Fernando works for a major fashion designer, and is from Colombia and lived in London for 5 years before calling NYC his home. He also played Team Handball for Colombia for 20 years. We have a 16 month baby girl and another one due May 1st 2013 so we are keeping busy but don't worry we have guesthouse employees to help you with anything and we live next door. Valentina our baby is just cute!

René 3.0 04/11/2012The room was very nice and clean. We hardly heard any other guests and felt safe in the neighborhood. The only thing that might bother some people is the noise of the airplanes. However they didn't fly at night, so we had no trouble sleeping. Unfortunately there was no toilet paper for about four days. Apart from these two minor aspects we were very pleased with our stay and would definately recommend it.

Brooklyn ist einfach ein wunderbaren Stadtteil, den wir mit Heathers Tipps gut erkunden konnten. Jedes empfohlene Restaurant oder Imbiss, überzeugten.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We stayed in Room #1, which was very clean with a comfortable bed . We had a shared bathroom with Room #2, it was also very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

We had the smallest room (#5) and it was very cute. Everything is new and clean, just as it looks on the pictures. The bathroom was in the hallway, right next to the room and also very clean.

Die Unterkunft liegt in Brooklyn, c.a. 5 Gehminuten von einer U Bahn Station entfernt. Von dort fährt man ca. 20 Minuten und ist im Herzen von Manhattan. Es ist nicht notwendig in Manhattan zu wohnen, Brooklyn ist günstiger, etwas ruhiger und trotzdem sehr zentral. Daher kann ich von der Lage her das Alma Victoria Guest House auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Außerdem ist das Haus sehr sauber, das Zimmer ist sehr hell und gemütlich. Es ist alles da was man braucht! Außerdem ist es ruhig, in den Garten hinaus gelegen! Preis-/ Leistung für NY stimmt hier! Es gibt außerdem kostenloses W LAN.

Leider verreist, aber die Tipps waren wie gesagt Gold wert und für uns genau das richtige. Kommunikation per Email verlief einwandfrei und war sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Nette Menschen!

Die Gastgeberin ist prinzipiell vor Ort oder eine Angestellte. Man wird freundlich begrüßt, alle Fragen zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten werden gerne beantwortet oder dabei geholfen etwas herauszufinden! Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich!
