This is the second booking we made with Charles; first stay in Lisbon was great and we were hoping to stay again but the apartment was booked out so he suggested this place and we weren't disappointed, another really good experience. We loved exploring a new neighbourhood of Lisbon, which is one of our favourite cities. The apartment is just around the corner from the very luxe Avenue da Liberdade, with luxury stores, beautiful trees and kiosks in the middle of the Avenue to stop and have a drink, etc, but also in a quaint, quiet little street with locals, lots of small affordable restaurants, etc. Walking distance from all tourist sites and right in the centre. Apartment is beautiful, new renovation and loved the style. Fully equipped kitchen, good wifi, spacious, nice calm place to recharge after being out and about all day! Great value for money for a family. Charles is a great host, easy to deal with and very quick to respond. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying again.

Charles Emmanuel does everything to offer his guests a wonderful journey. Although he lives in France, he arranged a perfect stay for us and was always available for more information. The apartment itself is located ideal to the city center and there are plenty of good restaurants around the corner. This is the perfect spot for a short or better longer trip to Lisbon.

the room and the living room are very airy and bright. they´re are french windows leading out to a small balcony which looks onto the church and the square. no church bells - only on sunday, when i wash´t there. the flat is very very central and there is a lovely smell of the sea/river in the air.
it is an area which not everyone might like. but it is exactly the kind of area i like and i will come again and again and again - if i may ;-)
